Personality: Serious, cold, aloof. Sa'yest takes a very clinical approach to life. She does not seem to express outward emotion, which has given her a reputation of being incredibly intimidating. Those that know her understand that she just doesn't get emotions. She's been working on it, but her grasp of jokes, puns, and other misuses of the common tongue often leave her perplexed or displeased. Overall, she is a kind and patient individual. She just doesn't have time for games.

Description: In her human form, she stands at 5'8" with short-cropped, white hair and ice blue eyes. She is exceedingly pale and has very little body fat, leading to a skeletal but powerful build. She dresses in simple clothes that won't interfere with her transformations and avoids colours as she finds them "distracting."

In her drasis form, she stands at 7'2" with white hide and blue eyes. She has no hair in this form, but a short, backward sweeping crest atop her head. Her ears are faintly pointed at the tips. Her wings are tipped with a pair of wickedly long talons. Her tail is shorter than most other drasis tails, but thickly muscled. Sa'yest prefers to stay in this form as much as possible.

Biography:

Born into the Bloodclaw clan and raised by her adoptive parents, Illiauna and Regalis, Sa'yest was set up for a life of blood, death, and struggle. Regalis viewed her as his heir, and as such, intended for her to claim the title with as much bloodshed as possible. He put her through grueling years of training and punishment, beating out any traces of weakness or compassion he found in her.

Illiauna, on the other hand, grew to love Sa'yest as a daughter and quickly soured on Regalis' methods. She attempted to escape the Bloodclaw clan and fully intended to bring Sa'yest with her, but Regalis uncovered her plot before she could fully execute it and chased her from the clan. The fight that followed nearly killed Illiauna, and Regalis was satisfied enough with his work that he left her to die alone.

Unbeknownst to him, a clanless drasis was watching from nearby and followed the entire fight. As soon as Regalis departed, he came in to save Illiauna's life.

Regalis returned to the Bloodclaws and announced that Illiauna was dead.
