Description: Tall, black hair, blue eyes, tanned skin. Taranis is a tall, lean human with a strong yet graceful build. He has long, straight black hair and darkly tanned skin. His eyes are a pale blue, but he insists they are silver. His attire is often dark and adorned with patterns that mimic the night sky, and he wears a flowing cloak that resembles the phases of the moon. He carries a staff with a moonstone orb at its top, symbolizing his bond with Quarat.

Biography:

Taranis was always captivated by the mysteries of the night sky. From a young age, he was mesmerized by the stars and the moon, spending countless nights stargazing and sketching constellations in his journal. His fascination with celestial phenomena led him to pursue a path in magic, with a particular interest in the arcane arts connected to the cosmos.

However, Taranis was far from an expert. He was a student of magic, still grappling with the complexities of spellcasting and the subtleties of celestial magic. His research was often characterized by enthusiasm rather than precision. His attempts to decipher celestial patterns and manipulate star movements never bore fruit, and were often the butt of jokes spread by his peers.

Despite his lack of expertise, Taranis's passion for the stars and moon was unshakeable. His dream was to someday see the other worlds of the universe. He knew it was possible, as the dragon riders of the Warren often spoke of their travels through the Nexus. Though apprenticed at the Antivold Tower in Lanutha, he knew his best chance of attaining his dreams was to transfer to the Warren's tower.

This was not an easy task, and it demanded a great deal of effort and sacrifice from Tanaris. For the first time in his life, he became enthralled in his studies, desperate to prove that he possessed the wits and intelligence to make it in the Warren.

Eventually, his dedication paid off, and Tanaris received his transfer. He settled into his new routine quickly and eagerly, finding he could even make friends in this novel setting. Still, the dream remained in the back of his mind. So while he continued his studies with renewed zeal, he also applied himself to the dragon riding program offered through the Warren. He was delighted when, just a few short months later, he was called down to select what world he wished to visit first.
