Personality: Commanding, quiet, matronly. Siltek is the sort of person who can command the attention of a room no matter who else is occupying it. She is slow to anger but quick to judge. She works to keep her temper under control, acting mysterious and aloof towards anyone she doesn't know. To family she is a kind, if strict figure head. Aside from her temperament, Siltek is also possessed of a prideful nature. She upholds the Blackrose ideals to the best of her ability. It's all about family in the end.

Description: Lithe, muscular, graceful. Siltek is of average height and build for a liron, but her royal lineage shows through in the square features of her face and the jet black colour of her fur. She wears nine golden hoops in her ears, and one matching golden bangle on her left leg. All of these jewelry pieces are signs of her accomplishments in her tribe, and as such bear intricate scrollwork depicting her skills. She moves with an effortless grace in all things, though age has slowed her somewhat. Siltek prefers to wear neutral, earth tones and sticks mostly to shorts and light, airy shirts.

Biography:

Born into the Blackrose tribe, Siltek grew up knowing that her life would always be dedicated to her people. She was raised with an education of family always comes first, and the needs of the tribe always outweighed those of the individual. Most of all, it was her duty to carry on the Blackrose lineage. She took no issue with these teachings. In fact, she took them to heart and made them her personality for those early years of her life. That was until she met a lone, roaming tigra.

Though liron are a nomadic people, they shy from interactions with outsiders. Only a select few hunters are ever chosen to brave outsider settlements when the tribe is in need of supplies. Siltek, upon rising to the status of head huntress, took on this dangerous role. That was how she met Moonshadow. A simple, unassuming man who challenged her with odd questions and disturbed her with his easy smile and musical laugh.

Siltek found the man to be wholly irritating and was glad to put the town behind her after securing the supplies they needed. Her irritation with him only grew as he announced himself to the tribe the next day and asked to travel with them. Tigra, being one of the very few outside species that liron associated with, were permitted to ask such a boon and could not be denied.

Over the next several months, Moonshadow shadowed Siltek's every step. He accompanied her on hunts, assisted in the skinning and preparation of her kills, and joined the tribe for nightly story circles.

Bit by bit, her irritation grew to curiousity, then amusement. She warmed to Moonshadow, and not too long after, fell for him. And he for her. This was all well and good until he had the temerity to approach the chieftain for his permission to bind himself to her.

For a tigra and a liron to be joined was not unheard of, but Siltek was of royal blood. She had a responsibility to her people. Yet when pressed to reject his advances, she couldn't. She loved him.

After a great deal of debate and many late nights spent worrying about the priorities of kids these days, the chieftain and his council agreed to the union. But maybe it would be better if the two of them split from the tribe for a bit. Say... maybe to check up on Siltek's cousin, Rugan, who had previously been believed to be dead but now appeared to be hale and whole, and better yet, allied with some very powerful people in a place called the Warren.

This was not a banishment, the chieftain made clear, but hydra sightings had been on the rise lately, and the tribe needed better protection. Perhaps air borne protection. Siltek, dutiful as ever to her people, agreed. She and Moonshadow were joined, and soon after they left to seek aid from the dragon riders of the Warren.
