Personality: For all the hardships she suffers, Gail is not necessarily a bitter hydragon. Yes, she hates how the other dragons stare at her as if she's some kind of freak; but so long as she has As' at her side, she figures life is good. To compensate for her bad rap, Gail has taken to being very politically and logically minded. She attacks any problem from every angle, presenting the best solution that she can find. Gail isn't one to be easily pushed around. Maybe it's the bone-headed hydra in her, but she's bound and determined to prove that appearances aren't everything.

Personality: Astriem is a fun-loving sort of dragon... Really. He just has to be in the right mood. Astriem is, in fact, a moody, reclusive dragon who finds that the best response to any social situation is a sarcastic barb. The only one he seems to get along with is Gail, and this is for a good reason. Being Hathian-born, he is trusted more than his counterpart and this bothers him. He sees no reason why he should be liked over Gail simply because of their bloodlines. This is, perhaps, why there exists such a large rift between his beliefs and those held by the rest of the world. It also explains why he's so bitter.
