Biography:

Elara grew up under the watchful eye of her mother; a beloved member of her community in the town of Glimmerstone. Elara's mother was known for her exceptional nurturing abilities and deep empathy, often seen as the "grandmother" of the entire town. Due to this, Elara developed close friendships with the other children of Glimmerstone, as they often came to her home when their parents had to go out for work or travel.

Elara's young life was quite peaceful, despite the dangers that often threatened the town. Her mother's position as the "care giver" of the community often meant that they received ample protection whenever anything threatened the town borders. Elara never knew the fear of real danger.

Despite her content life, Elara grew into a profound calling to connect with something greater. A bond that could offer her deeper understanding and a new path to nurture. Something that might allow her to be as kind and compassionate as her mother, but in her own way.

When a dragon rider came calling on the town one day, Elara struck up a conversation with them. She was curious about the worlds they visited and the wonders they saw, and also how one cared for a dragon. They couldn't be anything like caring for sheep or dogs, which was all Elara knew.

Quite different, the dragon rider informed her. They required so much more in terms of food and care, and that wasn't even accounting for the training and individual needs of each unique species.

With her curiousity piqued, Elara inquired about visiting the Warren. Just to see what all this fuss was about. The rider was more than happy to take her there.

Upon arrival and after a short introduction, Elara sought out the educators and care givers of the Warren. She learned quickly how many people were involved in tending the eggs, raising the hatchlings, teaching the fledglings, and providing food and resources for the riders to care for their adult dragons. There were hundreds of duties to perform, and never enough hands available to fill all the roles.

Elara quickly found her place among the educators and care givers, jumping from task to task as the need demanded. She was constantly busy, but thrilled with the challenge and chaos. And when called upon by the search riders to stand for her own charges, Elara knew she'd found home.
