Description: Tall, severe, with the standard Penti olive skin and wiry black hair. He keeps his hair oiled and slicked back, held in place with ponytails or headbands. His beard receives a daily trim to keep it sharp. Brotus is built on the lean side, but well muscled thanks to his work. He typically prefers dark, cool colours and clothing that will not draw attention to him. He only ever wears riding boots.

Biography:

Brotus was born the second child of Prince Achille of Pentas. He had the good fortune to be born a boy, but being second in line for the throne is never an enviable position. He quickly learned to do the opposite of Xanese in order to stand out in his family, thus leading him to be exceptionally charming at parties and his mother’s absolute favourite. When Menes was born, the status of favourite shifted to him, and Brotus found himself less enthused about being the center of attention. He instead took to the outdoors, spending much of his time with the hunt masters and stable hands. Being surrounded by creatures who demanded nothing of him directly gave him time to sort through what he wanted out of life. He came to realize he resented Xanese and Menes somewhat, but not enough to cause an upset in their family. Brotus knew that he wanted to stand out, that he craved their father’s approval, but he didn’t know how. Finally it seems an opportunity has fallen into his lap...
