Name: Soren D'Aidonvieux
Age: 43 years
Gender: male
Race: human (Tris'Hath - Traxan)
Height: 6'3"
Personality: Dour, disapproving, frugal. Soren is not here for a good time. He's not even here for a long time. He's here to trade goods for coin, collect his payment, and return home to his one true love; solitude. Soren loves company and a good conversation. He just rarely finds anyone he deems worthy of his time. He is a hard to please man, but those who get to know him know that he is steadfast and dependable, if stingy with his coin.
Description: Tall, thin, red hair, green eyes.
Biography:
Born the only son of the D'Aidonvieux trade empire, Soren never had a hope of having a life of his own. He was raised by a cadre of tutors, both mundane and magical, nannies, and guards who watched and judged his every move. On the rare few occasions where he spent time in the presence of his parents, he was expected to be quiet, well behaved, and perform on command for the entertainment of their guests. These tasks he performed admirably, given that the alternative was a scolding and bed with no dinner.
He grew up resenting the other children he saw in town. The annoying, loud, dirty children who played in the streets and laughed with each other and clearly were having far too much fun just to taunt him. Though he tried talking his parents into allowing him to play once in a while, these endevours were always shot down, no matter how well researched and presented, as too high of a risk with little reward. So Soren spent his childhood surrounded by adults but utterly alone. His only consolation was the burgeoning magical talents that kept him entertained in the quiet hours of the night.
In his early twenties, his parents passed away from a mysterious illness that swept through their little hometown. Soren was mercifully spared, but now found himself as the lord of an expansive trade empire without the guidance of his father. Also, with the hydra war now over, a growing sentiment of distrust directed itself at anyone with a sorcerous talent.
Soren, having inherited his sorcery from his mother's side, was proud of his heritage and resented the evil stares being directed his way. With nothing tying him to his hometown anymore, he opted to take his trade empire on the road.
This proved to be a lucrative move, as it allowed Soren to take his business to wherever it was needed most without needing to source back through a warehouse. This also meant that he had little stock on him at any given time, but he solved that by coming up with a system that allowed him to source his needs from his surroundings with little overhead cost. The D'Aidonvieux trade empire practically doubled overnight as Soren became known as the man who could get you anything.
For many years, Soren focused solely on work and travel. He made a few acquaintances along the way, but no one that really stuck by his side. That was until he ventured near the Warren to establish some trade lines outside of Traxar.
Bond

Name: Renyth Dehnlahlee
Age: adult
Gender: male
Breed: Skala/Lantessaman hybrids
Colour: Rainbow-Opal
Size: 10' at the shoulder
Abilities: Verbal Speech, Telepathy, Teleportation, Assisted Fire Breath
Personality: Fraudulent, businesslike, positive, youthful
Parents: Cohrah Dehnlahlee x Zaramoth
Origin: The Rainbow Glitz
Biography:
Renyth came to Tris'Hath with his brother, Cohanth, as part of a sponsorship program. They were raised together under the watchful eye of Ivory, the local clairvoyant unicorn-dragon. Ivory loved them both dearly, but always remained slightly distant, as if she were afraid to get too close to either one of them.
For the most part, Renyth and Cohanth loved each other as brothers, but it became very clear to the two of them very early on that they did not get along. For as loud, abrasive and fraudulent as Renyth could be, Cohanth seemed determined to be equally truthful, honest, and vocal about Renyth's illicit dealings. They began to drift apart as they grew into their adulthood.
Renyth was used to being on his own as an adult. He was also used to entertaining himself with a few harmless grifts here and there. This was how he met with Soren, who'd come to the Warren woefully unprepared to get top dollar for his goods. Renyth struck a deal with the Traxan, promising to grease the wheels for dealing with the various Warrens around the world. In exchange, Renyth would get a cut of the business. He thought forty percent was more than fair. Soren disagreed. The debate is ongoing.
