Name: Gizela
Age: 21 years
Gender: female
Race: liron
Height: 5'8"
Personality: Quiet, reserve, nurturing, suspicious. Gizela does not trust people, but she loves animals. She will go out of her way to help any poor creature in need, no matter how dangerous the situation. Her kind and compassionate nature led to her departure from her clan's homelands, as it did not mesh well with the prideful and predatory nature of the other lirons. Gizela does not like loud noises, or loud spaces, or loud colours. She takes a long time to warm up to anyone, but once she does, she is a friend for life. Gizela will defend those she counts as family as fiercely as she does her collection of pets.
Description: Thin, tan fur, yellow eyes. Gizela is short and rather scrawny for a liron. She never seemed capable of putting on muscle well, and that is especially apparent now that she no longer needs to maintain the rigorous liron training regime. She is quite happy being small and slight, and is rarely seen without a smile. She prefers earth tones and soft pastels for her clothing.
Biography:
Gizela spent her youth travelling the countryside with her clan, learning how to be a hunter, gatherer, but above all else, a warrior. She was terrible at all of these things. While she enjoyed gathering just fine, she often got distracted by the local insects or animals and lost track of time. When inevitably someone was sent out to find her, they also found her mostly empty basket and Gizela a hapless wild creature as her new best friend.
Her parents were never impressed by her antics. As she grew, they pushed her harder to adapt to the needs of the clan. This only caused Gizela to retreat further into herself.
When Gizela was eighteen, the clan passed into Lanuthan territory and opted to refresh their supplies at the Warren, wherein a few of the clan members had family contacts. Gizela tagged along for want of nothing better to do. She became immediately enraptured by the sight of the dragons and all the magical beasts that called the Warren home. Though it was a loud, chaotic place with far too many people, the fear and noise was balanced by the majesty of its fauna.
After a grueling inner struggle, Gizela opted to stay at the Warren and part ways with her clan. Her parents were less than pleased, but secretly a little relieved that she would no longer be an embarrassment to them.
It took Gizela several months to adapt to the noise of the place. Several more to say her first word to anyone beyond what was absolutely required to establish housing there. Yet when a posting went up for a caretaker for the new cattery they planned on opening, Gizela was there in a flash.
Gizela is now the proprietor and sole employee of Cross My Path Cattery. She is responsible for the care and well being of felines from across the Nexus. She has also taken on care of the snagon nests.
Is it a bad idea to have cats and snake creatures in the same vicinity? Probably. Will that stop Gizela from adding more to her collection? Not in the least.
